For the aerialist who is yearning to create work with meaning, join us for an opportunity to assemble and fine-tune choreography on any apparatus, coached by Susan Murphy of “Girls on Trapeze” and Julianna Hane of AerialDancing.com. With rich dance backgrounds and technical skill, Susan and Julianna will guide aerialists through exercises designed to inspire the performer and discover your own voice. Retreat is appropriate for aerialists who want to create a performance piece. Secluded studio on a tidal creek surrounded by marsh and a lagoon provides a conducive setting for deepening your work while having down time in nature or in the studio. All meals included plus hot tub, kayaking and biking. Instructions for 5 hours/day, 3 days. Plenty of one-on-one guidance and feedback.
